Happy New Year!  As we embark on 2019, I am certain it promises to be another very full year, both in parliament and here in South Cambridgeshire.

There's a new vision for housing across greater Cambridge being given the spotlight.  It aims to 'bring forward' homes which are affordable to live in, close to jobs and be energy efficient.  And the two local authorities behind the initiative would like to hear your views.

Theresa May has written to us

At the Association's Executive Council meeting on 29th November a motion was passed supporting the Prime Minister and the current Brexit deal – Ben Shelton, the Association's Chairman, was asked to write to Theresa May to communicate this to her.

Grenville Chamberlain awarded an OBE

Extra loan to get ice rink finished

In September 2016 South Cambs District Council, under Conservative administration, agreed to provide a £1.85 million loan to Cambridge Leisure and Ice Centre (CLIC) for a new rink by Newmarket Road's Park & Ride.
