Get a postal vote

If you are going to be away on any polling day and therefore unable to get to a polling station to vote in person because you are...

  • At work, travelling or on holiday...
  • Have moved house since the electoral register was drawn up and have not yet joined the register at your new address...
  • You are physically unable to get to the polling station...
  • Just don't have the time...

 
... you can still exercise your democratic right to vote.
 
You can choose either to vote by post or to appoint someone else – a proxy – to vote on your behalf.
 
To find out more about voting by post, either visit the Government's official postal votes website or the Postal and proxy votes page on the South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) website – from either site, you can download an application form to vote by post.
 
Simply print out the form, complete the details and send it to the Electoral Registration Officer at SCDC's offices:
